Bureau of Science, Technology and Industry for National Defense and Chinese National Nuclear Corporation (CNNC), University of South China (USC) is a public university under the administration of People抯 Government of Hunan Province, enrolling students from all over China. University of South China is recognized by WHO (World Health Organization) and approved by PMDC ([Pakistan Medical &Dental Council).

With an easy access to land transportation, school of medicine is favorably situated in Hengyang City Proper, a famous historical and cultural city in China. there are modern teaching buildings, playgrounds, canteens, stadiums, dormitories and a library on campus, surrounded by green trees, birds and flowers creating a good academic atmosphere for study and research.

School of Medicine of USC has a staff of 125, among 45 are full professors, 72 associate professors, 11 supervisors of M.D. candidates and 43 supervisors of M..M. Candidates. There are 27 M.D. degree holders and 108 M.M. Degree holders. 5 members are honored as specialists who share the special government subsidies granted by the State Council, one is honored as a teacher of agnation-wide distinction and the other, a teacher of provincial distinction. Apart from that, there are 2 academic pacesetters in their fields and 20 young and middle-aged backbone teaching members in Hunan Province, there are now more than 6.000 students studying in School of Medicine.
